DIGBA
DIGBA (
Plin. Nat. 6.27. s. 31), a small town of Mesopotamia, on the Tigris, near the junction of that river with the Euphrates. Forbiger thinks it must be the same as the
Διδιγούα or
Διδουγούα of Ptolemy (
5.20.4).
In the
Cod. Palat. of Ptolemy it is written
Ἀιγούα, which is almost the same word as Digba.
It was below Apameia.
