Νηλεύς : Neleus, son of Poseidon and Tyro, husband of Chloris, and father of Pero and Nestor, Od. 11.254, 281, Od. 15.233; driven from Iolcus in Thessaly by his brother Pelias, he wanders to Messenia and founds Pylos, Od. 3.4; all of his sons except Nestor were slain in a war with Heracles, Il. 11.692.
