ἐν-τίθημι , fut. ἐνθήσω, aor. inf. ἐνθέμεναι, mid. ipf. ἐντιθέμεσθα, aor. 2 ἔνθετο, imp. ἔνθεο, part. ἐνθεμένη: put or place in or on, mid., for oneself, or something of one's own; of putting provisions on board a ship, Od. 5.166; clothing on a bed, Il. 24.646, etc.; mid., of a mother laying her son upon the bier, Il. 21.124; metaph., μή μοι πατέρας ποθ᾽ ὁμοίῃ ἔνθεο τι_μῇ, ‘hold in esteem,’ Il. 4.410 ; ι?λαον ἔνθεο θυ_μόν, ‘take on,’ Il. 9.639 ; χόλον θυ_μῷ, ‘conceive,’ Il. 9.326, Od. 24.248 ; μῦθον θυ_μῷ, ‘take to heart,’ Od. 1.361.
