Pe'trichus
(
*Pe/trixos) the author of a Greek poem on venomous serpents,
Ὀφιαχά, who lived in or before the first century after Christ. His poem, which is no longer extant, is quoted by Pliny (
Plin. Nat. 20.96,
22.40) and the scholiast on Nicander's
Theriaca (pp. 47, 50, ed. Ald.).
