Themis

or THEOMIS, the name of a poet to whom some late Greek writers ascribe the invention of tragedy, is probably nothing more than a corruption of Thespis. (Bode, Gesch. d. Hellen. Dicktkunst, vol. iii. pt. 1. p. 34.)
