Onchestus

Ὀγχηστός), a son of Poseidon, and founder of the town of Onchestus, where the Onchestian Poseidon had a temple and a statue. (Paus. 9.26.3; Stephl. Bvz. s.v. Hom. Il. 2.506.) Another tradition called this Onichestus a son of Boeotus.
