Se'rgius

（*Se/rgios), of Zeugma, a town in Syria, the son of Aphthonius, was, according to Suidas (s. v.), praefectus praetorio, a consularis and a patrician. He wrote an epitaphium on his brother Sabinus, and a work against Aelius Aristeides.

In the article on Soranus, we find: "at this present time (1848)" and this date seems to reflect the dates of works cited. 1873 - probably the printing date.
