A Union soldier died at St. Louis of wounds received at Fort Donelson.
He was from Iowa, and his funeral was held in the capital of that State.
His dying injunction was, that no enemy of his country, secessionist or abolitionist, should be permitted to touch his body.--Chicago Times.
The repugnance of that soldier to abolitionism — his detestation of it — is not singular, but is shared in by three fourths of the army.
The feeling is increasing in intensity every day.--Ohio Statesman, May 7.
