Bartlett, John, 1820-

Author: born in Plymouth, Mass., June 14, 1820; became a publisher in Cambridge. In 1862-63 he was a volunteer paymaster in the United States navy. He is best known for his Familiar quotations; The Shakspeare index; and The complete concordance to Shakspeare.
