McDowell, William Fraser 1858-

Educator; born in Millersburg, O., Feb. 4, 1858; graduated at the Ohio Wesleyan University in 1879, and at the Theological Department of the Boston University in 1882. He was pastor of Methodist Episcopal churches in Lodi, O., in 1882-83; Oberlin in 1883-85; and Tiffin in 1885-90. In the latter year he was elected chancellor of the University of Denver. He is a member of the Colorado State board of charities and corrections.
