Wheatley, Richard

Clergyman; born near York, England, July 14, 1831; received an academic education; was ordained in the Methodist Episcopal Church; came to the United States and settled in New York State. He is the author of Biographic Encyclopaedia of the New England States in the nineteenth century; History of the world from the creation to the close of the Middle ages; many magazine articles, etc.
