Fisher, Joshua Francis 1807-1873

Author; born in Philadelphia, Pa., Feb. 17, 1807; graduated at Harvard College in 1825; studied law but never practised. His publications include An account of the early poets and poetry of Pennsylvania; Private life and domestic habits of William Penn; The degradation of our representative system and its reform; Reform of municipal elections; and Nomination of candidates. He died in Philadelphia, Pa., Jan. 21, 1873.
