Goss, Warren Lee 1838-

Author; born in Brewster, Mass., Aug. 19, 1838; received an academic education and studied law; served in the Civil War; was captured and imprisoned in Libby, Belle Isle, Andersonville, Charleston, and Florence, S. C.; released in November, 1865. His publications include The soldier's story of captivity at Andersonville; The recollections of a private; In the Navy, etc.
