Shurtleff, Nathaniel Bradstreet 1810-1874

Author; born in Boston, Mass., June 29, 1810; graduated at Harvard College in 1831, and at its Medical Department in 1834; was mayor of Boston, Mass., in 1868-70. He was the author of Passengers of the Mayflower in 1620; Genealogical memoir of the family of elder Thomas Leavett of Boston; Records of the Governor and Company of Massachusetts Bay in New England; Memoir of the inauguration of the statue of Franklin, etc. He died in Boston, Mass., Oct. 17, 1874.
