All moved to Fortress Monroe, Va. Regiment on duty at Fortress Monroe, Yorktown and Gloucester Point, Va., till June, 1864, as Heavy Artillery and Infantry. Companies “E” and “H” attached to 1st Brigade, 3rd Division, 10th Army Corps, Army of the James, July to December, 1864; then to Separate Brigade at Fort Pocahontas till June, 1865.
