Formerly known as Company “I,” 15th Regiment, Veteran Reserve Corps. Organized at Chesapeake Gen. Hospital, Fort Monroe, Va., August 1, 1863.

Designation changed April 25, 1864.

Mustered out by detachments August 12 to November 28, 1865.
