مُؤْتَمِرٌ ذ [Obeying, or conforming to, a command; &c.: see 8. ― -b2- ] One who acts according to his own opinion; (T;) who follows his own opinion only: or who hastes to speak. (M.) -A2- See also آمِرٌ. ― -b2- Also, and المُؤْتَمِرُ, [The month which is now commonly called] المُحَرَّمُ: (M, K:) the former appellation (مؤتمر) is that by which the tribe of 'Ád called it: (Ibn-El-Kelbee:) pl. ↓ مَآمِرُ and مَآمِيرُ [both anomalous].
