Last of the choir.

--Three of the choir of young girls who, dressed in white, greeted Washington as he entered Trenton in 1789, on his way to assume the Presidency, and strewed his pathway with flowers, still survive. One yet lives in Trenton, one is the mother of Senator Chesnut, of South Carolina, and one, Mrs. Sarah Hand, resides in Cape May county, New Jersey.
