Cotton in North Carolina.

--The total number of bales of cotton raised in North Carolina, for the year ending August 31st. 1860, was 182,907, valued at $9,000,000. This is more than ever before produced in the State by 25 per cent. The next year's crop, ending in August, 1861, it is supposed, will reach as high as 200,000 bales. This is a remarkable yield for the cotton lands of the Old North State.
