Stabbing.

--At Chesterfield Court-House, on Monday, a man named John Wood was severely stabbed by Thomas Gregory. The affray originated in an old quarrel, and Wood is said to have been the aggressor. He is a young and athletic man, and the nephew of Gregory. The knife entered Wood's side and penetrated the cavity of the chest, producing what was considered a fatal wound. Gregory was arrested and examined, and the evidence showing that he acted in self-defence, he was acquitted.
