--Orris Harrison was examined before Recorder Caskie, on yesterday, for the alleged stabbing of Miles McJordan, on the 29th of January, and was remanded for examination before a called Court of Hustings, on Thursday, February 21st. Had the offence been a bailable one, he would doubtless have been allowed the privilege of entering bail for his appearance, as an impression generally prevailed that both parties were somewhat to blame for any breakage of the law occurring at the time of the disturbance between them.
