--According to the Shoe and Leather Reporter, the whole number of cases of boots and shoes, shipped by rail and sea, last week, from Boston to places outside of New England, was 11,691. Of these, 5,230 cases were sent to the Western States; 4,012 cases to the Middle States; 2,810 cases to the Southern State; 138 cases to the British Provinces, and one case to Cuba. Of those sent to the Western States, 1,584 cases went to San Francisco, and among the Southern were 327 cases for Charleston, S. C. This is quite an advance on the business of previous weeks.
