The military Festivals.

--We inadvertently omitted to notice yesterday the balls given on Friday night last, one by Company ‘"G"’ and the other by the Young Guard. We visited both, and were gratified to observe that everything was going on with hilarity and success. The ladies, as a general thing, were pretty and well dressed, and the ball-rooms were decorated with taste. At the Young Guards' ball we noticed a large Palmetto flag suspended from the centre of the ceiling, among other colors and devices.
