A river Pirate sentenced,

--John Duffy, charged with abducting and enticing seamen to desert the bark Langton, at Savannah, Georgia, was convicted in the city court of that city, last Wednesday, and sentenced to pay a fine of $500, or suffer six months imprisonment in the jail.
