Correspondence of the Richmond Dispatch.
Southern Confederacy flag raised at Port Walthall.

Port Walthall,Va., March 26, 1861.
There was a flag of the Southern Confederacy raised here this evening by the citizens of this place, amidst the cheers of the assembled populace. The flag was 16 ½ feet long, by 9 feet wide, and was attached to a pole 73 feet long. It was made by two of Richmond's fair daughters. The people about here are almost unanimous in favor of secession; some of the strongest Union men, heretofore, are now heart and soul for Virginia taking her stand with her Southern sisters. By the way, it is said that the flag raised here is the largest flag of the kind in the State. Americus.
