A man ground to death.

--On Saturday last, at Cleveland, a laborer named John Frank was run over by a locomotive, and literally ground to death; he was rolled along the track for a rod or more under the wheels of the tender and the brakes, crushing the body to a jelly. Scarcely a bone half a foot in length was left whole; both legs were broken in half a dozen places, and the whole body left a shapeless mass of flesh and clothing at the side of the track. The heart was found about thirty feet from the main mass of the body, the lungs were scattered in various places, and every part torn in pieces.
