Franklin Stearns, Esq., a liberal-hearted and enterprising citizen of Henrico county, has made a donation of $500 to the Verina Troop, which timely aid will much increase the usefulness of that admirable body of citizen soldiery. We hope the example set by Mr. Stearns will be imitated extensively by other opulent citizens of Richmond and Henrico.
