Mayor's Court.

--Yesterday the Mayor held Edward Cunningham to bail to appear on the 29th and answer for a breach of the peace committed by him — A summons issued against George J. Scammel, for allowing a goat to go at large, was dismissed.--Case of Jacob S. Tyler, for selling a watch, worth $20, of which Wm. G. Allen was knocked down and robbed in the street, was continued for witnesses.--The case against Ettie Hanelin and Dan Tucker, for breaking open Mark Moss' door, and carrying away a door, window-blind and sash, was dismissed, it appearing that there was no felonious intent.--Wm. E. Coleman, alias John W. Edmond, was put in jail and ordered to work in the chain-gang for ninety days, for falsely swearing he was a qualified voter, and exercising the right of suffrage on Thursday. It appeared that he had been recently discharged from the Penitentiary, and was a suspicious character.--Jean Sitz, for drunkenness, was committed in default of surety.--Pat Caughlin was committed for beating his wife, Bridget.--Mike Brannon, charged with threatening to assault Thos. Cary, was discharged.
