Abolition outrage on a British vessel.

--A special dispatch to the Savannah Republican, dated Charleston, May 31, says:

‘ The British schooner Eliza and Catharine left here this afternoon for the Bahamas, with a cargo of rice, lumber, &c. After crossing the bar she was brought to by the steam-frigate Minnesota. The Captain of the schooner was compelled to go on board the Minnesota, and the schooner was threatened with seizure and her papers examined.

The schooner was ordered to return and remain in port until the blockade shall be discontinued, or else discharge her cargo and leave in ballast. The commander of the frigate told the captain he had a d — d good mind to send a shot through the schooner.

Consul Bunch is greatly provoked at the outrage on his national flag, and the community generally is delighted with the result.
