From Chambersburg, Pa.

--A dispatch from Chambersburg, June 1, says:

‘ A horrible fracas occurred in the negro quarter of the town this evening. Frank Jones, the negro proprietor of a barber shop, shot and wounded two soldiers. Jones than fled, but was pursued by the companions of the soldiers, and instantly killed. The two soldiers are seriously if not fatally wounded.

The Sixth, Twenty-first and Twenty-third Regiments are encamped at Camp McClure, adjoining the town.

The Second, Third and Twenty fourth Regiments, and the Scott Legion, are at Camp Miles, four miles south of here.

Three hundred and fifty regular Dragoons, under Col. Thomas, and the Philadelphia City Troop, 90 horses, are encamped in the woods adjoining Camp McClure.

The regulars of Col. Thomas are considered the crack regiment in the service.

A large number of Army wagons and horses ranched here last night. Gen. Fatterson and staff are expected to-morrow,

Several additional Regiments are also excepted by Monday.
