The New York papers say that the reason their troops fired upon each other at ‘"Little Bethel,"’ was that Col. Benedicts men wore grey uniforms, like those worn by the Confederate troops. The body of a Mrs Corwin has been found in the woods near Scranton, Pa., which caused the arrest of her husband for murder. The Federal Government will keep up postal communication with Mexico by way of Havana. A man named Tilly had recovered $4,000 in a suit against the Hudson River Railroad, for causing the death of his wife.
