Snow storm.
--Winter has at length set in, and all classes are feeling its chilling effects.
On Friday last the weather was exceedingly cold for many hours, but somewhat moderated towards evening, and at an early hour of the night the sky was completely veiled in clouds, betokening an impending storm.
At a late hour the white snow flakes began to descend, and continued to fall throughout the night.
Saturday morning, to the astonishment of many persons, the ground was covered with snow to the depth of three or four inches, a north wind drifting it into every crevice, and making locomotion exceedingly unpleasant.
During the greater part of Saturday the snow continued to fall, until it was twelve inches deep.
Yesterday was a clear, bright day, and hundreds engaged in the sport of sleigh-riding.
