Assassination in Troy.

--Horace B. Sargent, book-keeper for the Rensselaer and Saratoga Railroad, was murdered and robbed in Troy, N. Y., about ten o'clock Tuesday evening. The assassin was seen standing over the body by a young man named Burns, but fled on his approach. The utmost excitement exists in reference to the murder, and a special meeting of the Common Council has been called. The city authorities offer a reward of $500 for the arrest of the murderer.
