North Alabama items.

--The Court of County Commissioners of Limestone county, Alabama, have resolved to levy a tax of fifty per cent, upon the amount of the State tax of each tax payer, to raise a fund to equip troops going from the county, and provide for their families. At a meeting of the citizens of Madison county, 2,115 bales of cotton, 4,000 bushels of corn and 50 bushels of wheat were subscribed to the Confederate loan. It is said 2,500 more bales will be subscribed.
