‘ Pensacola is supposed to be threatened by an unusual complement of men and ships, angering either a fight or a feint. In the meanwhile, Gen. Bragg, like a Louisiana alligator, is watching his prey, and with one fell swoop will drag the Yankees under water if they approach.
