The feeling of our people.

--Gentlemen who have canvassed the city to find accommodations for the wounded soldiers, are deeply affected by the kindness with which they are everywhere received. Names pour in upon them from families, ready and waiting to receive the soldiers and provide for them. The sympathy and willingness to assist seem universal and deeply felt.
