--A man named Edward Edwards, was carried before Alderman Sanxay at the City Hall yesterday, for stealing a $20 gold piece from Matthew Bryant. When the case came to be looked into, it appeared that he had restored the money. The word ‘"refunded"’ was marked opposite his name, and he was let off.
