Hustings Court.
--The monthly term of this Court commenced yesterday,
Augustine I. McMullan and
John P. Hagan having produced to the
Court satisfactory evidence of their ordination as
Ministers of the Gospel, in the
Roman Catholic Church, etc., were authorized to celebrate the rites of matrimony in this State.
The Grand Jury was duly empaneled and adjourned until to-morrow, after which the following preamble and resolutions were adopted, and the
Court accordingly adjourned:
Whereas, since the last monthly term of this Court, it has been the will of Divine Providence to remove from us our late associate Junctions,
Charles B. Hill and Robert M
Burton, whose estimable qualities, kindness of heart, and usefulness as citizens, had endeared them to all who knew them, Therefore keitt.
Resolved. That the members of this Court deplore their loss and tender to the afflicted of the deceased their heartfelt sympathy for the irreparable calamity they have sustained.
Resolved, That the
Clerk of this Court transmit a copy of there proceedings to the families of our departed friends, and enter the same on record.
Resolved, As a further testimony of our respect for the memory of the deceased this Court do now adjourn.
