Sick soldiers in Staunton.

There is a large number of sick soldiers in Staunton. There being no regular nurses, the ladies of that town have nobly devoted themselves to the relief of the sick, and in regular rotation engage in the duties of nurses. The women of Virginia are nobly vying with the men in heroic self sacrifice, patriotism and humanity. War, amidst its multitudinous horrors, developes some of the grandest virtues of humanity.
