A person named Daniel Murphy was charged before the Mayor, a few days since, with appropriating a time-piece that did not belong to him. Now, it happens that there are four of that name in Richmond. One of the number politely requests us to do the innocent ones the justice to describe the man, so that the saddle may be placed on the right horse. We do not believe that it was any one of the Richmond Daniels who was brought to judgment on the occasion referred to. He was a new comer, an outsider, a late importation. For the satisfaction, however, of the parties concerned, we shall take an early occasion to describe the physique of the delinquent Dan.
