A number of Sisters of Charity have lately arrived here from the vicinity of Washington, and are now engaged in attending the sick. We learn that they solicited permission to come from Old Abe and were refused passports, when finally, having determined to persevere in their mission of mercy, they escaped by stealth from the Babbcon's dominions.
