Richmond, Va. Oct. 18, 1861.
Within three months, George J. Sumner, Treasurer of the Baptist Colportage Board, located in this city, has received three thousand five hundred dollars to aid in supplying the soldiers of the Confederate Army in Virginia with religious reading.
These donations have come from every State in the Confederacy, except one.
