Duel in the second District.

--A duel, with double-barreled guns, was fought yesterday afternoon on Hopkins's plantation, by two officers of the French Legion. Both parties behaved bravely, and as the cause of the hostile meeting was not a very serious one, the seconds of the challenger declared themselves satisfied after the first shot, which was without result.--N. O. Picayune, 30th,
