Ran away.--$100 reward.

--Ran away from the Batteries in Manchester, on or about the 3d September last, a Negro Boy, named John.--calls himself John Alvis, the property of Mrs. Rebecca Robinson. Said negro is about is or 19 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, brown complexion, thick lips, and very sullen looking — He is supposed to be in the neighborhood of Richmond, or at some of the encampments below Richmond. $25 will be paid for his delivery to the subscriber, it taken in the city or any of the adjacent counties, taken in any other parts the State, or $100 it taken out of the State.
