A Diabolical act

--Just Punishment Visited Upon the Fiend.--A baker by the name of Bounematson was killed by a Mr. Trahan it West Baton Rouge, La. a few days since, while attempting to commit a rape upon his (fraban's) wife. Trahan had been out hunting when his attention was attracted towards his house by the screams of his wife. On arriving at the spot and witnessing the outrage that Bonnemaison was attempting upon his wife, he instantly shot both loads of his gun into him, from which death resulted almost instantly. He was tried and acquitted immediately, on the ground that it was justifiable homicide.
