The case of Harvey Wash.

--A new trial having been awarded to Harvey Wash, once convicted of passing counterfeit money, the case will probably be heard by Judge Lyons during his present term. A rule was yesterday awarded against Wilson Hicks, the sheriff of Appomattox county, to show cause why he should not be fined for contempt, for not returning a subpœna directed to him commanding him to summon a witness in Wash's case. The rule was made returnable to Thursday next.
