Coroner's inquest.

--A jury was summoned to hold an inquest yesterday morning over the body of Washington J. Worsham, who died from a wound received in a duel with James McCullough, and accordingly assembled at the house of the deceased, on Sixth street, at ten o'clock. They found the body attired for burial, and after a brief inspection of the wound, adjourned to meet again at the High constable's office at ten o'clock this morning. Dr. Peachy, Coroner, gave it as his opinion that the ball entered the side, just above the right ilium, penetrating the soft parts, intestines and blood vessels, as evinced by the immense exudation of blood and escape of fecal matter from the point of entrance; lodged in the abdominal wall immediately opposite, and was removed therefrom. These facts, connected with an advanced state of decomposition, rendered a post mortem examination unnecessary.

The funeral of Mr. Worsham will take place this morning at eleven o'clock.
