Unfortunate accident.

--Robert Roney, a member of Company ‘"A,"’ 6th South Carolina Regiment, fell from a troop-train at Gordonsville, last Saturday night, about 1 o'clock, and was instantly killed. The deceased had just re-enlisted for the war, and was on his way home to Chester, S. C., with a large number of his comrades, on furlough. The train was densely crowded, even to the platforms, and while it was slowly moving away from Gordonsville, Mr. Roney unfortunately lost his foothold and fell, the wheels passing over his body. The remains were brought to Richmond yesterday. A Louisianian, whose name we have not learned, fell from another train near the same spot on Saturday night, but was not seriously injured.
