Attention!. Marylanders.

The undersigned, having received authority to raise a company for a Maryland regiment, desires to recruit 100 able-bodied men. A county of Fifty Dollars will be paid to each man on enlistment. Subsistence and clothing also furnished.

All patriotic Marylanders are urged to come forward, and show by their deeds their loyalty and devotion to the Southern cause. It is a solemn and imperative duty that we owe to our down-trodden and oppressed State. Maryland can alone be saved by the efforts of her sons in the Southern Confederacy. And when our redemption is achieved, and our beloved State is freed from the grasp of the tyrant, it will be a source of pride to those who have fought and bled in the Southern cause that we have assisted in the glorious work.
