A New weapon.

Mr. T. N. Blackburn, of Miss., has invented a new revolving fire-arm which promises, as we learn, to prove an effective weapon. It has been examined by several prominent military men, who have given it their approbation. A model has been constructed and will be exhibited to the public. The machinery is simple in its construction and in its operations. It is important at this time to know that inventors are engaged in trying to supply our deficiency in arms, and we hope that proper encouragement and reward will be continued.
